Preschoolers at the Early Childhood Center participated in the October Readers in Flight reading challenge! Four students, Haydin Houle, Jackson Kludt, Sophia Baum, and Dannica Thoma, were randomly selected as the preschool prize winners. Let's keep reading Little Flyers!

To lead things off, we hear about highlights from the School Board meeting on October 16, 2023, from Superintendent Greg Johnson. Next, members of American Legion Post 46 stop by to share some history of their involvement with providing a Color Guard to school events for over 50 years. Finally, LFCHS Principal Tim Bjorge stopped by to talk about the recent threat activity that took place and its impact on the school.

Knife River generously donated a dump truck full of sand for the Early Childhood sandbox. Brad Lemier with Knife River made this happen for us, and the preschoolers are so happy!
